This unit is designed for foundation or early stage 1 (NSW)
This 10-lesson Foundation Geography unit helps children explore the features of familiar places and the places they belong to. They consider why places are special to different people and communities, including connections to Country/Place, and explore ways to care for special places. Through observing, discussing, mapping, drawing and sharing stories, children build understanding of how people experience and care for places.
